March is Red Cross Month

 

The Bradford Sullivan Counties Chapter of the American Red Cross wants to “Paint the Counties Red” During Red Cross Month. 

 

During the month of March, in celebration of Red Cross Month and in the spirit of volunteerism, the Red Cross is asking schools and businesses to support the Red Cross by hosting a dress down, wear red, or wear a hat for the Red Cross. Individuals will donate money to participate in the chosen event with donations going to the Bradford Sullivan Counties Chapter of the American Red Cross. All donations will stay local to help the efforts in your communities. Also, when you donate blood during March wear red to the blood drive. You will then be entered into a drawing for a gift basket filled with luxuries from local businesses. 

 

Wendy’s in Wysox is joining the effort to “Paint the Counties Red”. Every Wednesday night in March from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. a portion the proceeds from sales will benefit the Bradford Sullivan Counties Chapter. You can get a great meal and support a great cause! 

This month serves as an occasion to honor and thank the members of our Red Cross family and also as a reminder that the American Red Cross makes a difference everyday in communities around the nation and the world.
